What is the SAYN Serbian Organization Directory?

The Serbian Organization Directory is a simple, community-focused resource designed to help people discover Serbian clubs, cultural groups, student associations, and other youth-oriented organizations across the U.S. and Canada. Its purpose is to make it easier for communities to be seen, to connect with one another, and to help new people learn about local groups they may want to join.

What the Directory Includes

The directory features organizations that work with, represent, or engage Serbian youth and the broader Serbian community in North America. This includes student clubs, folklore ensembles, cultural centers, youth groups, choirs, sports teams, professional organizations, and much more.

What the Directory Does Not Do

  • We do not generate revenue or profit from this list
  • Listing an organization does not imply affiliation with SAYN
  • SAYN is a neutral platform that highlights and connects existing communities

Criteria for Inclusion

  • Active: At least one public post or update within the last 6 months
  • Visible: Must have at least one public-facing platform (Instagram, website, Facebook, etc.)
  • Relevant: Must be related to Serbia, Serbian culture, heritage, or Serbian youth
  • Aligned: Must fit within SAYN’s goals of openness, youth engagement, culture, and community connection
  • Community-oriented: Should involve, include, or engage young adults (18–35)

Active vs. Verified

Active: The organization appears active online and publicly engaged, but has not yet confirmed its information with us directly. Info gathered from public online sources

Verified: The organization has personally confirmed its information with SAYN

  • Help people discover nearby groups and opportunities
  • Encourage communication and engagement between organizations
  • Promote involvement among young people who want to connect with Serbian culture
  • Support year-round organizations that host events and strengthen community across the diaspora
